I am tired of seeing new players just standing there doing nothing because they are new and don't know how to do anything. So make them go through a mandatory tutorial before doing ANYTHING on Roblox. It will show them how to use the chat, how to use dialogs, etc. This could possibly stop spammers too. Enough said. Then again, you guys are a corporation so you probably wont listen or give a crap either.

I agree cause new players wouldn't really know how to play and also they do listen because I had a problem with something and they didn't respond but they actually fixed it for me :D so they DO read the forums

Yeah, most people on games don't even know how to use shift-lock. Seriously though, I always check the options when I first play a game! Most of the features are quite easy to use and obvious but when they're bottom-set six year olds, it goes a little past them.

they can't make a universal tutorial for roblox and you need to specify what the tutorial is for stinki

@scattercannon The basics, this will have nothing to do with individual roblox games. The developers need to script that in if they want their own. It will probably just a be short tutorial on simple controls and using shift-lock.

except the tutorial would be 2 seconds long because chatting is self explanatory and the universal controls for PC games are WASD and mouse to look around if you're in first person no support piggy wiggy | R$1,015

"except the tutorial would be 2 seconds long because chatting is self explanatory and the universal controls for PC games are WASD and mouse to look around if you're in first person" So? It should be quick and easy to keep the attention of a little kid. "bro anyone could figure out the controls. aint that hard." Just watch the bacon-hairs on a game like prison life then... And why do you type with no grammar apart from spelling and full stops while constantly using the word "bro"? LOL

there's no point in putting in the tutorial if it takes 2 seconds to whip through and teaches you nothing plus, like you said, bacon-hairs are "six year olds" so why are you expecting them to be good at a game. that's skill, not basic understanding. also, their grammar has nothing to do with them learning how to play. still no support piggy wiggy | R$1,015

"there's no point in putting in the tutorial if it takes 2 seconds to whip through and teaches you nothing" There are some obvious things that some noobs literally don't check on roblox. It would just be easier to have a quick tutorial. "plus, like you said, bacon-hairs are "six year olds" so why are you expecting them to be good at a game. that's skill, not basic understanding." I'm not expecting them to be good... I just want them to know the controls. "Six year olds" is also a hyperbole. "also, their grammar has nothing to do with them learning how to play." That was a reply to noob3713, I thought that was quite obvious but I'm sorry if it wasn't... "i didnt know prison life was the same as every other game on roblox dude." I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say... It seems like you're pretending to be me in a sarcastic way from what I can guess, don't troll me if I got it wrong though. I would like a clarification here because I'm not sure that it really makes sense... Anyway, if that is what you were trying to say, I used prison life as an example because it's popular, filled with bacon-hairs and it basically requires you to know how to use shift-lock and etc. The bacon-hairs never use shift-lock and always just seem to play awkwardly, they turn their cameras around and never try to dodge shotguns; sometimes they even accidentally just shoot the ground when they try to hit someone... That's not a lack of skill... They don't know how to actually play. "'It should be quick and easy to keep the attention of a little kid' i guess roblox has builder's club for a reason!" I don't understand... I really don't this time... Are you saying that I'm a greedy kid with builder's club or something... Or are you trying to say that builder's club is "quick and easy to keep the attention of a little kid"? Or something else? Or a mix of both; are you saying that I have builder's club so I'm a dumb kid? Are you saying that I'm a dumb kid so builder's club is for dumb kids? "basic understand on how to play*" What you said first made sense. If you want to clarify it with "on how to play" then you need to say "basic understanding about how to play"...

"There are some obvious things that some noobs literally don't check on roblox. It would just be easier to have a quick tutorial." nothing matters other than the basic controls which noobs already know "I'm not expecting them to be good... I just want them to know the controls. "Six year olds" is also a hyperbole." they know the controls it's just that they may not be as digitally literate (and by that i mean being "good at roblox) as you and me piggy wiggy | R$1,030

Good suggestion, but the tutorial should be optional. Yes, I know, some people won't click it, and we will still have people running around not knowing the controls, but if the tutorial is an option, instead of required, then more people will take the time to learn.

1) A ROBLOX tuorial doesn't teach them how to play specific games anyway. This won't change anything. "This could possibly stop spammers" LMFAO tell me how?

"they know the controls it's just that they may not be as digitally literate (and by that i mean being "good at roblox) as you and me" We can go around forever in a loop with this... They don't know how to use things like shiftlock, or that they can zoom in all the way to go into first person (some people don't even know how to zoom in and out); these things are all pretty essential to playing ROBLOX... I also never said anything about their actual skill, unless they have some kind of problem, they won't shoot the ground or walk awkwardly if they know how to use shiftlock and zoom in and out. Since ROBLOX is for kids, some of them won't even know the simple defaults for computer game controls (WASD, mouse to point, etc...), which is why some people on roblox literally use the arrow keys and don't even know how to jump. Just check a game like prison life or assassin and you will see what I'm saying... You seem to be stuck in your own ego, to be honest with you, you just think that you're a pro at video-games and they're all just average (or below that, since they are mostly really young children). You probably aren't actually much better than them, they just don't know the controls. This has nothing to do with skill... There is overwhelming evidence that newer players don't know the simple controls, since they shoot the ground, walk awkwardly, never use shift-lock and etc. "Good suggestion, but the tutorial should be optional." I'm not sure really... It depends on how many people actually take the time to go through it (considering that they are mostly about 8-10 when they first start playing). If nobody checks it then it shouldn't really be optional but then ROBLOX might lose customers if the kids are too impatient to play the tutorial. "prison life aint the same as every other game bro." Prison life uses the basic ROBLOX controls and isn't a cancerous "tycoon" or "roleplaying" game. Most other games on ROBLOX are like this but the front-page is littered with things which barely even count as games (tycoons, roleplaying "games", games which are just ridiculously easy, such as obbies and remakes/new levels of games for kids that are really easy to script, such as "pokemon brick bronze", these are also really easy). Individual developers who go against the usual ROBLOX controls will obviously needa tutorial for their own game (or just obvious controls). "it was a joke, yo. stop overthinking it." Either your joke was really terrible or I just don't get it. "1) A ROBLOX tuorial doesn't teach them how to play specific games anyway. This won't change anything. 'This could possibly stop spammers' LMFAO tell me how?" It will be for the games which aren't "pokemon brick bronze" and just use the actual ROBLOX controls (I don't think there are even many games which don't just use the usual ROBLOX controls). Don't say it "won't change anything" just because the only games that you actually play on ROBLOX are games which don't use normal ROBLOX controls or don't really need any tutorials because they're so trash (like pokemon brick bronze). It could also be mentioned that some games don't use the normal tutorial controls. As for what it will affect, I'm talking about games that are actually games and use the normal controls (not frappe or life in the town of robloxia, but SFOTH, assassin, murder, prison life and the list goes on). Most newer players in these types of games mostly don't even know the basics and just annoy both themselves and people who actually know how to play. I don't entirely understand why the OP said "This could possible stop spammers too." but a few basic rules could be mentioned to prevent things like online dating, spamming, exploiting and bullying; I don't know why the OP specifically mentioned spamming though...
