Homeschooling is great tho, besides being able to get stuff done and actually take something away from it my schedule is awesome. I get up at 8 and work till 11:20 and then get ready to leave and walk down to the highschool and spend an hour and a half working in the machine shop.
Im there so much the teacher has me grading technical drawings and doing maintenance on our equipment. Would not be able to do that if I took all my classes at the school |

i think it's great for individuality, you're not in a cesspool of basic people who are copies of everyone else like everyone in public school is so... boring..., like as homeschool you have the chance to be yourself because you're not really with a bunch of people who are basic af
but public school, on the other hand, has more of a social benefit i think.
my school is incredibly diverse, there's people from all backgrounds and everyone is different (ik i said everyone is basic, but there is incredible diversity regarding race, economic background etc, and honestly im starting to think that just human beings in general are basic and have bad taste in music)

My taste may not be good but it's not exactly basic. I mean some of it is. But most of my school doesn't listen to the stuff I listen to. Not like I am one of those "BORN IN LE WRONG GENERATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" kids...I just listen more indie underground stuff (except some of the pop and pop rock I do listen to...but even then, my favorite pop artist is Lilly Allen who is more well known in the UK). Not trying to brag, I mean I don't have the most "original" taste in music (my favorite band...period...is Radiohead). But my school hasn't at all influenced my taste. |

i took high school chorus for a semester last year and there was this one guy who was basically always wearing a fall out boy t-shirt
i really really hated that guy
granted i hated him for reasons other than the fact he liked fall out boy but that pretty much sealed the deal right there
