Whereas the Federal Elections Filtering Committee, hereafter referred to as the FEFC, have recently disqualified a number of voters in the recent Senate Class III elections on a trello which has since been made and kept private, thus depriving candidates and voters knowledge of: a) whether or not their vote was disqualified and, if so, why it was; and b) how many votes a candidate lost and why the candidate lost said amount of votes.
Whereas the Congressional Electoral Law also states the following, "(1) All election information shall be stored on one (or more) trello board(s) that can be publicly viewed anytime;".
Whereas even though the FEFC may not technically have to follow the same processes set up for the FEC, by using the FEC vote board to conduct their disqualification the aforestated part of the Congressional Electoral Law would then, in theory, apply to the trello itself.
However, regardless if whether or not the FEFC have to follow the Congressional Electoral Law, voters and candidates alike should have the right to know the information stated in the beginning of this petition, and that same information is being kept classified by the FEFC for unknown reasons, this petition will strive to have them change their minds and allow candidates and voters to view the results after the disqualifications were made, including the reasoning behind the disqualifications and the exact voters who were disqualified.
