I feel like R15 should not be optional when it is fully released. It looks very smooth and well made, but I have a question. Why do people not like it? Could everyone who sees this thread and doesnt like R15 please explain why it isnt good?

The joints are kind of horrendous, they have improved, but no. R15 should be optional, as I prefer R6, so, I can't support.

R6 is classic. It's one of the only features not destroyed by roblox updates.

I understand that R6 was the main animation for roblox, but roblox is changing, its not going to keep something that could be improved.

My personal opinion R15 isn't an improvement. It's just degrading the website by making it appear more childish.

People have scripts to modify players that are entirely based around R6, and would just be annoying to have to update to R15.
I do, however, believe they need to set the default setting on games to allow either R6 or R15. Of course, already existing games would remain R6 only, to prevent breaking. |

i hate R15 why would u force it down everyones throat like that. it should be an option, thats like saying packages shouldn't be an option everyone should just be R6 1.0ers like me, it doesn't make sense just because u like it doesn't mean its what everyone wants |

I kind of understand where you are going with that. Roblox makes updates where there is a ratio of people who dont like it. It doesnt mean that everyone doesnt like it! Could you give me another reason please?

My point was that it would be annoying if we had to update our scripts to R15 when they can just keep our option to only allow R6 in our games. |

R6 is classic. Without R6, ROBLOX has nothing that remained throughout the years. Plus, R15 kinda encourages ODing.
Before saying "UR R15" I don't wanna look good that's why. |

I understand that R6 is something that people can cherish about the old days of roblox, but anything could use some improvements. I also dont understand the Online Dating part. All R15 is doing is giving people more body parts to make the animations look better, could you please explain this part for me? @TheSpinoFan

I like R15 just because I'm thinking of making a game using it, and the extra joints allows for better animations.
Too bad for any ODers, the game I have planned is mostly single player. |

I will always love R6, mainly for nostalgic reasons. Yes, Roblox is moving forward, but in the wrong direction.

If they required all Players to use R15 there would be protests right off the bat, I know a ton of people dislike R15 and like R6 because it's the classic look, also a ton of animation scripts require R6 and would break and need to be updated |

I understand the protest part, but there has been a lot of protests about a lot of roblox updates! One of the most famous and recent ones would be the tix being removed the update. I do agree with the breaking statement, though. Thank you for replying! @AannddyyLa
