I never once called you an idiot, don't put words in my mouth.
I also never said it's *only* friends that would be trying to talk with, follow, or interact with you. There are plenty of people from groups I own, groups I'm in, people I've scripted for, am currently scripting for, or who work for me that try to contact me whenever I'm online- I'd prefer to be able to appear offline at times, so I can still enjoy ROBLOX, without constantly being hounded about things I need to do, or asking me what is needed of someone else.
Again, I did imply an insult to you, though it was never related to your intelligence, it was in relation to your importance to others; Don't try to spin things I've said, take the insult that was given, don't change it. |

Unless they friend you, nobody has any way of following you if you set following to nobody, and I didn't put quotations meaning it wasn't an exact quote. |

Also, the idea isn't "show as offline to friends", it's "show as offline to all users". It is, for the most part, NON FRIENDS that I don't want to interact with me at times. I can't simply put my messaging and following features to no one, because as said, people DO need to contact me about many things.
Just because the idea doesn't affect you, does not mean it is not relevant, as stated before. The idea is still completely relevant, useful, and will be used by a large sum of users, regardless of if you use it or not. If you aren't going to use it, you don't need to not support, simply don't respond to the thread; If it is a BAD idea, then let the user know, and let them know the reasons why. Your only reason for it not being a good idea is that you won't use it. |

@vesc people pm offline users, I don't understand how this would change that, people will just think that you are inactive, nobody can join you if you have it set to nobody, unless your friends go into the friend recently played thing, but if you have good friends, it shouldn't be a problem. |

Turn following to friends only and messages to all and if somebody needs to contact you, they can, and nobody that isn't your friend can follow you, it's quite a simple feature |

If you go into settings, you can turn following to friends, and if people still need to join your server than why would you need this feature? |

I think O figured out the problem, in settings you can set messaging to one setting, joining to another, and via servers to yet another, you don't have to set messages to nobody if following is also nobody, experiment to find what works for you. |
