If we need to go over this,
Canada is apart of a Commonwealth under the Queen of the United Kingdom, that means that all commonwealth states are inclined to join in assistance with other clients. Therefore, that leaves the U.K., Australia, Canada, and several others are going to join in.
If that isn't enough, communists already hate the U.S. enough as is, and this gives Russia an excuse to war the U.S. as well. Then so on, and so on, and so on. Don't make the argument that the world relies on the U.S. for an economy because it'll recover in time. |

I don't really think Russia would get involved as it has nothing to do with them. And quite frankly, Russia seems to be on the defensive with the U.S, I don't think they purposly want a war with us, which is one of the reason I like how Trump won. So that we could restore ties with Russia.

even if the entire commonwealth, which doesnt even exist at this point, decided to attack the US, you'd all be decimated within seconds
the air force and navy would easily the UK's islands into a bunch of craters filled with starving orphans, detached from the rest of society
the army would only have to take 3 cities from canada, all on the american border already, and 95% of their population is under american martial law
australia's military capability is laughable compared to the united states', i doubt they even have enough fuel or manpower to launch an assault on even hawaii
putin isn't interested in gaining land in alaska or america, he's worried about europe. it would be strategically hypocritical for him to help the UK, one of the main forces defending europe. still, they lack the air force or navy to reach the american mainland.
seriously, it'd take 5 regiments of basic infantry and a couple of armored cavalry to knock out canada from the war. the rest of our enemies can be ######## of their port and sky access, rendering any possible attack they could possibly make impossible.
