instead of asking the question because it would be worded weirdly, ill give of example of what im wondering: The SEC has a tie-in to the Sugar Bowl, which is a non-Playoff bowl game. However, Alabama is going to the Playoffs. So does the 2nd best SEC team then go to the Sugar Bowl, or is the tie-in vacated and open to any conference?
