"no guns = no protection = if a ######### comes into ur school u cant do nothing cause u got no guns = you die" this argument certainly has merit against an absolute ban, but most people don't advocate for absolute removal of guns. most people want these restrictions: -mandatory gun registration -mandatory gun licenses (that would have ###### ###### checks and background checks) -concealed carry ban (unless licensed) -automatic weapons ban (so you can only purchase semi-automatic weapons) RIP Koolboy123, Oct. 1, 1992-Apr. 27, 2016 ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ

capitalism isn't the source of 100% of the world's problems. some people are just a holes and will kill each other regardless. making weaponry available to everyone is a stupid idea because there are already a ton of people who murder for no reason, we'd just be enabling more people to do that. human nature is a myth, people are shaped by the society and environment they are raised in not by myths perpetuated by capitalists to restrict gun rights and tell the people that they need to be in power otherwise everyone would act like animals Iᴛ ᴀɪɴᴛ ᴇᴀsʏ, ʙᴇɪɴɢ Cʜᴇᴇsᴇʏ.

(note: this is including removing the police and military from having weapons) because everyone will have a gun, as the only way to ensure that they aren't an easy target for crime is to have an equal level of defence. a gun is the easiest, fastest, and most effective way to end any conflict. most people with a weapon on hand have it for this exact reason, and in a world with no gun restrictions than everybody would have one. the most common issue: anger. caught your girlfriend cheating on you with another guy? shoot them. a manager refused to give you a refund? threaten to shoot them unless they give it. another big issue: discrimination. spot someone who has something you believe makes them inferior human beings? shoot them. and if this was, say, enacted today effective immediately, people will also decide to get payback at the police early on and probably kill any current and past police officers. we will naturally go for the easiest, fastest, and most effective way to end any conflict that we have, and that would almost exclusively end up being a gun. oh, and these people won't be locked up or even stopped by the police, because they don't have any power anymore. what will likely happen is that friends of someone who got murdered will murder the murderer, starting a vicious cycle of killing. this is something that happens with gangs, and guess where gangs usually are located? the places where it is really anarchy because the police don't go there and the government isn't able to do anything to fix it. yes, you can say right now that you and many others you know wouldn't do something like this. but when you know that the other person also has a gun, how do you know they won't either? when someone you know dies because the other person pulled the trigger first, then you get cynical. everyone you meet can't be trusted, and you constantly are on edge. in fact, this is something done in many video games: rust, dayz, etc. all of them rely on the user. if you don't shoot, the other does, and just like that you've lost everything. except in real life, there's no respawning. which means that you're more likely to not take the risk of trusting them and just shoot. and guess what? in those games, the ones who are the most trusting are the ones who die the most. "no private property, homelessness, food shortage, classes, or work" seriously? no work means no new homes are created and no food is made. infrastructure will fail, as nobody is working on it. no classes means nobody learns how to do anything, meaning they'll never learn how to do any work that needs to be done.
