So my spanish teacher (who is a replacement teacher), who is horrible and unfit to be teaching in highschool, has been against me all year. It's been an uphill climb to do okay in that class because she tries to make me do bad. I've complained and have been in the process of trying to get her fired because she is incompetent and disrespectful.
I failed one of her quizzes, and realizing that i've been trying to get her fired, she made a deal with me that if I stop trying to get her fired she will let me retake the quiz (and not the other students who failed the quiz).
Should I use this as evidence to help my case more or should I just take my points and shut up |

do what ithesportsbomb would do
"We do have a lot in common. The same earth, the same air, the same sky. Maybe if we started looking at what's the same instead of looking at what's different, well, who knows?" |
evidence
you'd only get to re-take the quiz and she could just go back to being the way she was afterwards |
Take ur points, she's in a union |
but couldn't i just use this as blackmail all year and try to take advantage of the situation |
not really
if you make a deal with her then you can't break it because then it makes you look bad.
if she's really trying to stoop down to your level to save her job, she obviously knows that she isn't doing her job right. |
plus, the idea that she's doing shady deals with students and stuff like that shouldn't be happening |
A teacher won't get fired based on you telling a story. Unions are too strong and you using this as evidence will just screw you over. Take the points and hope his patches the relationship |
There's a very low chance if any chance your plan works, I think you have a false sense of power and you need to realize that you're not gonna get her fired, take this as a life lesson, a lot of bosses aren't ethical and a lot more are just jerks, learn to work with people for your bottom line |

The assistant principal agreed with me and told me to go to the supervisor and gave me his contact information.
She's a replacement for the real teacher whose on leave for having a baby. |
on second thought, I retract my statement.
Bung's right on this |
Teachers who do this should be out of a job |
Not to go personal but approximately how old is she?
My school has a math teacher who is in her late 50s early 60s ish. Multiple times people have tried to get her fired. At least 60% of the school supports firing her. Yet we can't due to some retirement benefits or something else.
But by all means, please do try to get her fired if she is being like this. And let us know what happens. |
Instead of blackmailing her for grades use it to spread her #### and ####### |
I'm not saying your point of view isn't a noble pursuit, but realistically it won't happen, I'm not arguing that she deserves her job |
And another point, since you say she's only a replacement teacher that makes firing her even harder. A school really can't just fire and bring in a new teacher in the middle of the year because of complaints, if you feel strongly on this try and make sure she isn't back next year and take the grade now, but I feel there's absolutely no chance she doesn't finish the year |

They shouldn't be working whatsoever but I've had plenty of issues with teachers yet they still teach. |

Yeah my freshman physics teacher was hands down the worst I've ever had, I didn't do well in the class but it's impossible to fight a union as a student |
