I understand completely what ROBLOX had in mind when cancelling the comments on games, since most popular games were a complete wreck, filled with scams. However, I have done some game developing, and comments are a great way to communicate with the gamers.
To sever this communication link is therefore detrimental to the health of the game, since the developer is uncertain what needs to be done to make the game better.
Worse quality games are bad for the gamers, the developers, and of course, the entire ROBLOX community, and leads to less revenue for those wonderful people in charge of ROBLOX.
Also, many scams could be prevented by the oft-suggested "play before commenting" rule, as this would slow down the posting rate of people and potentially stop bots.
In short, although I respect ROBLOX for attempting to stop scams, I do think the action of removing the comments is an overreaction which leads to more harm than good. |

how about we just put a picture with a word the user has to type out (forgot the name) on the comments so it will end all spam better? |

@above Its called a CAPTCHA
and, yes, support! As a dev, I rely on comments to tell me about bugs in my game, so that I can fix it. Now, people have to join a group that I made. I'm not that mad, but its far more tedious then enabling comments, and less people feel inclined to give me tips on my game. I understand, roblox is trying to fix an issue, but they are going about it all wrong.

@Triumphion I'm too cheap to get the BC I need to make a group, so that option is out for a lot of people. The only other option I've seen is that of the forum, but that is still more difficult than a quick post. |

Although not all scams would be stopped by Play Before Commenting and a CAPTCHA, enough would so that the comments would at least serve their purpose, and not be 99% spam/scams. This would stop bots and dramatically slow down humans, so many would not think it would be worth the time to copy and paste on so many games. |

Support. I build home showcases and have always relied on feedback from users in the comment section. I think it should be the game Developer/creator to decide whether or not their game has a comment section. Bring it backkk |

Please ROBLOX! I want to know what people think about my game!!! |

I love hearing feedback and commenting on namesnipes, but those days are over thanks to scammers and Roblox's decisions. |

Play the game before being able to comment, and then you gotta do a little captcha to comment.I can assure you all scammers will be stopped this way. |

|

Also a Captcha before commenting is a great Idea @Enrxq. |
|

They should also make this a thing in the Terms of Service
"Don't advertise your content in the comment section. The comment section is for telling the developers about their game, not directing people to your content. |

or make it a BC Only feature.

I relied on comments to help with my game. (i think most developers with small games needed them like me.) |
