After a little bit of waiting, I pad up to Featherkit and nudge her. She get's the memo and walks with me out of camp. I pick her up by the scruff and jump over the stepping stones and onto solid ground before setting her back down. We walk through the trees, making sure to keep the river in view. |

I leap up onto some rocks and lick my paw. "What is this place, mother?" asks Featherkit as she scrambles up onto the smooth rock. "This is SunningRocks, Featherkit. Our Clan and ThunderClan have fought over this many times over." I explain to her. "Can't we just share it?" she asks, confused. "Our Clans do not work that way I'm afraid." I say quietly. |
