Download hypercam. Open it. Select the region you want to record. If you want music, open iTunes, select the song, and on Hypercam go to Audio then select record music. Now record. Do whatever you want including pausing for epic videos. Now for your finish, stop recording and play it to see how you did. If you like it, go to youtube and upload it. Im WIFIM101 on youtube. What do you mean by on-screen? Like taking a picture of the desktop? You can try recording and pausing very quickly if that is what you mean.

Actually I suggest to use another software. Hypercam is very blury and bad quality. Fraps is good but only 30 secs. Camastia is wonderful but is expensive. Camstudio is ok and free.

I use my hypercam all the time and for me it isnt really blury. Check out my videos and see.

Try wegame or fraps,they are both great recorders that are easy to use,and don't blur the image/graphic.

Hypercam might be "perfect", but fraps (in quality) is still better.Do whatever you want with hypercam, fraps records the EXACT computer screen.

Yeah, but FRAPS costs money. I, personally, use Camstudio. I can get audio cause I have the mic from that High school musical Wii game, although I'm thinking of also getting hypercam for some stop-motion effects, since Camstudio has no frame-by-frame option T_T
