Windows 8.3, Acer brand laptop. Price range, around 200$. Not a great PC but never had this sort of issue, ever.
Issue began today, actually. Approx. 10Am.
Last night was the last time I'd used it. Around 9oclock PM.
Deleting it works like this: Right click and an Uninstall button will show up. Left click does nothing and I have a family safety running. I have to request to install apps, and use them. (Including Roblox) I had a theory that it was my family safety settings, and I have evidence to support. It will tell me due to family safety it is restricted. My original guess was that this was my antivirus stopping me, because granting access via family safety was proven ineffective. Spotify has the same issue, as does Games, Xbox, Kindle, and Netflix. I'll check out that support link, and I appreciate any help, in advance.
Deleting it, as I said, acts as if I am trying to open it, which is by no means the case. So, as it stands, no deleting it, no opening it, or such. I'll try to do something about this "Family Safety" situation. Considering my mother and other family members blame it on the app, which, from my last thread from 2014, where I faced a similar issue, had convinced me that it was my PC. And it probably was. Could quite possible be a glitch in the system. There is no way a company such as Roblox could corrupt so easily. Especially with me in possession of such a high-end antivirus system. |
