Hello ROBLOX,
Recently, I caught my 8 year old son playing a violent game on ROBLOX. I took the computer from him immediately and put him on a time-out. Meanwhile, I came to the horrifying discovery that, while the game he was playing was called "Phantom Forces", there were countless other violent games that I just was disgusted to see on a kids website. I have decided to make sure my son never plays ROBLOX again until these games are banned and I am encouraging other moms to do the same.

Is Police Brutality this much of a problem these days? |

The worst idea to ruin roblox.
DO not ban Violent games. I do not want ROBLOX slowing dying to the kids zone. |

You're either a mom-poster or shielding your son from the basic realities of life.
1. Stop mom-posting.
OR
2. Get a grip -- this is the real world.

Oh Christ, another person that thinks this? VIOLENT GAMES DON'T MAKE VIOLENT PEOPLE. Games like Phantom Forces have so much time and effort put into them. And even Roblox themselves have recognized this. A majority of the Roblox community are over 13. Are they just supposed to "enjoy" games like Adopt And Raise A Cute Kid? No, they wont enjoy games like that. Today, kids are playing WAY more realistic games, so there's no chance they'll even be scarred by blocky guns and blood. |

Phantom Forces was the most played game on roblox in 2015. With so much support and effort put into making this game, it doesn't deserve to be banned just because it may seem violent to you. Almost everyone, except these mom-posters, would disagree with the decision to ban it. Plus, there are many other inappropriate games out there, much like those club games. If you think this game is "inappropriate" I'm sure much of us would suggest getting him into another game, or putting something on his device so you can see what he's up to. And if roblox thought this game was a huge issue, they would've done something about it a while ago. |

You're really good at monitizing your son's activity. There's parental controlled accounts, if that was obvious.

If violent games don't cause violent people, then why do so many gamers turn into criminals later in life?

mom posting needs to stop

I did my research and so should you.

Please post your source. I just looked up statistical correlations between violent games and criminal records and couldn't find a SINGLE article showing a relation between criminals and violent video games. |

"Please post your source."
Why? Do your own research please.

No, violent games don't make violent people. Gaming helps people, in fact. And that includes M games. Games like Mafia and Assassin'a Creed can teach you about history. GTA and Saints Row can help improve creativity and reflexes. |
