21 savage is good and he's not a mumble rapper, he's just too easy to get lost in (his lyricism, how fast he raps etc.)
not saying his lyricism and rap quickness is the best but it's up there
dunno why y'all getting on his case anyway, he's good as heck and already got a feature w/ drake
he's only been rapping for 3 years and just got his break end of 2015/this year..

i don't care if it's "bait" or whatever, i'm just trying to answer the question you asked
most of drake's songs aren't ghostwriters, the only "ghostwriting" which drake was involved in is during his feud w/ meek
his best albums (take care, nothing was the same) weren't ghostwriters, that was all him
the only thing which didn't come from him were those 5 select songs in take care that were given to him by the weeknd
and yes the weeknd might've wrote some lyrics for him but in return drake built the weeknd's career and the weeknd ran the ball with it
drake might've done the same for santan dave, 21 savage, and any other person who featured with him, or at least saved them 5 - 10 years full of struggle to get to the top/to get trendy.
same with 21 savage, he managed to get a feature with drake in 3 years not to mention his individual skill is impressive and his style is kind of catchy but at the same time really funny and bars, his style basically just represents his name: savage.
no surprise he's trendy, just be grateful he's actually good as well.

If you listen to 21, all he raps about is women, money, ######## blah blah blah. Now take someone like Eminem. He raps about stories, "Stan" for example. 21 is awful -- is what i'm getting at. |
