Likely still in school not giving him time for most jobs for dropouts limiting him to the such, the areas you listed even with the following reasons are good for experience at a young age and can help transition people into the work force.

I started working at age 11.... I have a lot of jobs that can be easily accomplished for someone of your age... Heck we're the same age lol. I'm smart, not many people are... Hence the reason my first paycheck forced me to start paying taxes... Oh well... At least it was more than quadruple the amount of my parents first paycheck combined... Um Customer Service idk if that's ur thing, if u like talking to people all day volunteer, you might land a job later in a non-profit Best Buy, Fries Electronics, if you have tech qualifications try to intern at somewhere that u have skills for, veterinarians, computer repair shop, etc um, fast food chain as last resort
