I am sick and tired of all these roblox updates that they think theyre making it easier for us but theyre making everything about 100x worse. First of all, I've put up with everything do far. but then REMOVING the build option in studio? That was my main way of doing things, and today i did about 3 hours of work in studio, I was in test mode because its the closest i can get back to build mode, and then as usual in build mode i pressed X and saved changes. NOTHING CHANGED BECAUSE I WAS IN PLAYER MODE WHEN I BUILT EVERYTHING. Roblox you need to BRING BACK BUILD MODE. IDK what you guys thought when taking it away.
Mood: Enraged! Wasted all my time.

The build options was terrible, outdated and useless. I mean, I guess it was useless to remove it, but it really doesn't make any difference.Creating in studio is WAY easier, faster, and more efficient.

Build Mode was removed quite a while ago; it's not a new change.
In regards to the elephant in the room, ROBLOX is fleshing itself out to be way more of a developer platform; build mode was counter intuitive to this goal. If you're using it as your "main way of doing things", then you surely need to reassess that stance - Yes, everyone has their own way of doing things, but people need to learn to adapt to use more powerful tools.
So far as why it was removed, I believe ROBLOX stated (on RbxDev, when it was a closed community) that it was down to a lack in use as well as the fact that they felt it was unpolished - But, don't quote me on that.

You can just script a stamper game that saves progress if you put enough time and dedication into it, it can have dedicated servers and all. Basically Minecraft Realms but on ROBLOX. |

it was the ugliest way to build, in the fact that it was amateur, old terrain, and most people using build mode had no idea how to build anyway. now that it is removed, you should embrace the better, newer features that roblox is giving you in studio mode. |

Build mode could make a decent game. My brother cvscvs2 made a game called Temple Run with it, and it's superfun.
Btw, since they're only letting you use smoothterrain in 2017, my brother's been forced to completely remodel his Temple Run game by putting "real" bricks into the game, which was super annoying.

@DunclubDuncan - I don't think people are smart enough to recreate build mode for themselves (I'm being completely honest right here even I am not smart enough to recreate build mode for myself but if I really wanted to build I'd just use the regular studio cause the Studio it's self isn't bad at all I've done way more in studio than in build mode... |
