Hello Cadets! This Manual has been written and created for the purpose of helping you understand the process of being a Cadet and to provide the necessary information that you will need during your time as one, it is not mandatory that you read through this however it will give you an edge over other Cadets. Overview of Contents Section I - Rules and Expectations Section II - Drill and Command Section III - Obstacle Course Section IV - Combat Simulation Section V - Miscellaneous and Graduation Section I ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Within the Military we have had a basic set of five rules that our soldiers are expected to adhere by, these rules include are the following, Rule 1 - Respect other members of RGR-M, RGR, and it's Allies. Rule 2 - Follow all orders from your superior as soon as possible, if the order unreasonable and unjust you may refuse to follow it. Rule 3 - Do not kill another member of RGR-M, RGR or it's Allies without good reason, an example of good reason would be refusing to leave a restricted area. Rule 4 - Act mature and serious during raids and events, when you wear our uniform you represent our Republic and as such you should set the best possible example to others. Rule 5 - Refrain from cussing and using inappropriate language. Section II ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Drill is used on a daily basis in RGR-M, you will be expected to be able to follow the commands quickly and efficiently to help promote good organisation, some examples of the commands you will be expected to follow are, STS - Shoulder to Shoulder. SFL - Single File Line. Forward March - When instructed, follow the person in front of you. Halt - When instructed you will stop all movement until instructed to move. Left Turn - Turn to the Left. Right Turn - Turn to the Right. About Turn - Turn in the opposite direction clockwise. Centre Face - Turn to the superior giving the command. Present Arms - Equip your Firearm Patrol Arms - Lower your Firearm Holster Arms - Unequip your Firearm Section III ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- As part of your assessment and development as an RGR-M Trooper you will be required to complete the obstacle course located in Kamino, the rules are as follows > Two lives > One minute and thirty seconds time limit > You may complete the obstacle course in whatever way you like as long as you remain within it's boundaries Section IV ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Within Kamino, we have a combat facility that allows for a diverse range of situations and environments, as part of your assessment you will tested on both leadership and combat skills. These situations may vary depending on the number of Cadets however these are the basic outlines. Base Simulation - The objective of this simulation is to create an objective capture simulation, one team must remain alive and defend the base while another must wipe the enemy team out and claim it as their own > The map 'Base' will be used > In this simulation each team will have one life > One Cadet will be assigned as an Officer for each team > A planning time of three minutes will be given Basic Combat Simulation - The objective of this simulation is create a basic combat scenario where Cadet's will have to take advantage of height and combat lanes to gain the upper hand against their opponent, this will be a deathmatch. > The map 'Cover' will be used > In this simulation you will have multiple lives > One Cadet will be assigned as an Officer for each team > A planning time of one minute will be given > KO Limit will be 30 Section V ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ After the end of each training, you're progress will be reviewed and a decision will be made as to whether you will graduate, know that it is not uncommon for a Cadet to have to attend at least two training before he/she can pass. If you have passed and graduated, congratulations! As a fully official member of RGR-M you now have the right to wear the armour and helmet and to choose a division. The divisions RGR-M has to offer you at the moment are the following, 104th Mechanised Battalion - Bored of operating a flimsy DC15S and want something a bit heavier and damaging? if so you'll feel right at home in the 104th Battalion where you'll receive the opportunity to operate the mechanised heavier vehicles of RGR-M and provide vital support for those around you. 501st Legion - The 501st Legion an ever iconic sight any Star Wars group, the blue armour is a recognisable sight for all of us, for our Republic the 501st Legion specialises in defensive strategies and tactics, if you believe that the best offence is a good defence then you'll be happy and at home in the 501st Legion! 212th Attack Battalion - The cousin to the 501st Legion, the 212th Attack Battalion has earned it's rightful place in our Military, providing us with specialised soldiers who unlike its 501st cousins are more interested in offensive tactics and strategies, if you have a keen interest in striking the enemy before they strike you, you'll right at home with the 212th Attack Battalion.
