Nowadays, when a clan declares war, the other clan likes to raid the enemy's base a few times to see if they can actually win there. If they figure out they can't win there for whatever reason, they make excuses to try and prevent a war from happening.
Personally, I think declining wars is a lot more scummy than throwing raids prior to a war starting, what do you guys think?

I don't think my base is unfair, I just think clans aren't able to think of good strategies hence why they struggle to win / complain about fort being unfair.
I threw one raid because the Overlord wanted to "test" the base but I didn't want to give out my defense strategies. After they requested us to try, we did.

Well if a clan can't win there then it's up to them to figure out a way to do so
No need to immediately start giving them the handicap and lose on purpose to ease them into a war |

but like for example, when you take a look at FC v Resade war, war negotiations was going to smooth until FC started losing defenses/raids then that is when they started making excuses at a pretty easy fort

If you could simply just use a normal fort then all the situations would be resolved. We don't even care if you use SMO just get a proper fort.

The stronger opponent has no need to pull things to gain an edge.
When they do "scummy" moves, it's probably because they are insecure about their clan's ability to win the war. |

Mohxy thats not true at all, yesterday I messed up because I had people that couldn't listen at all, and thats my fault lol.
It's definitely winnable if people listen, people were too busy worried about kdrs
