This is an idea I've had for a while, and it became even more prevalent after the removal of Tickets.
Running a group and distributing uniforms has always been something of a pain. When there were tickets, for the most part people could afford one piece of clothing, and if they couldn't afford the other they would in a few days. Since the removal of tickets, the only way to get the uniforms out is by distributing group funds, which is not profitable at all. On top of this, people have been known to take advantage of this by asking for uniform funds and running with it.
So, this is what I have thought up. A piece of clothing will be uploaded to the group. The group leader can then select this piece as a group uniform, and pay a fee of, say, 500R$. This uniform is then available for free to anyone in the group until they leave or are exiled. Perhaps also, there can be options to make the uniforms available only to certain ranks, for implementation of LR, MR, and HR uniforms.
Reply for support, criticism, or ideas to improve this. I believe that this could go a long way to help get groups organized and looking professional without so much hassle and wasted funds. |

I support. But I think 500 ROBUX may be a bit too much. Maybe 200-250.
But even if it was 500 ROBUX, I would still have full support. |

You can just give group funds.

Explain how group funds provides the same simplicity and freedom of this before using it as an argument. |
|
|
Dear lord, it takes like a few seconds to transfer group funds and if the person buys the uniform the group only loses four robux (assume the uniform is 10 robux all together).

And if the group doesn't have groups funds to begin with?
Also, nice tone in your comment. Really got the whole "condescending tone" working for you. |
|
|
Well then they need to earn some funds. In order to create a group you need BC and 100 robux, that means that if the current owner, or anyone that can manage group funds, will be able to fund the group.

But, that's not the same as this feature, and therefore doesn't remove the value of this idea.
You have to actually say why an idea is bad on its own to actually bring it down. |

Support, I don't have to donate to groups so they can buy uniforms for people if this gets created.

^ That is something I forgot to mention, the only way to really get money is through donations, or paying yourself |

Pump some of your own money into the group funds, then use those funds to donate to members to buy the uniform.

This has been suggested multiple times for a very long time, but it has not been added. So no matter what your opinion on this is, it is not going to end up being added, so there is no point debating about it.

@chatowillwin Thanks for the reply, but honestly if you're not going to give any feedback or somewhat constructive criticism, can you not? xD |

Edlon, just because he didn't supply any constructive criticism doesn't mean his opinion is invalidated.
And plus, this idea is garbage.
There's this thing called "morphs" and you just make one at your bases that morphs the avatar's clothes into the uniform |
|
ExtulsJoin Date: 2009-01-02 Post Count: 5557 |
^How does that give them the uniform at other places? |
|
|
Exactly. Having a morph at a group's place doesn't give them their uniform at another's during a raid or other event.
And as for chatowillwin's post, his opinion is invalid because there IS no opinion. His post basically says "This isn't going to happen," which doesn't help anyone at all. |
|

but most group leaders sell uniforms for their own fund gain.
no soup for you |
|
|
I'm not saying that isn't still an option. By all means, if they wish to sell their uniforms or clothing, they can still do that. This is simply an alternative, for those groups who wish simply for their members to look organized without constantly funding people and wasting their own money. |
