During times of war, the Mehteren are reserves to be called by the Ottoman Empire, led by the Wartime Prince, these corps are the most used during warfare. They strategize, march, and hold many defensive positions. Mehteren ranks are voluntarily, and can be joined within a tryout. Mehteren Officers are specifically chosen to lead their posts from the Nizam-I Cedid. Mehteren ranks should be posted on the Group Wall, where they will be added to a list held by the Wartime Prince;
