The payday 2 thing may of cracked some hope of getting TIX back. But, this post is not powerful enough to do anything https://www.roblox.com/library/448235351/bleach

Before I opened this thread I knew it was a tix one.

Anthony, it is not this one post that will do anything indeed. It however, can inspire. It is the fire. And, this is not merely a tix thread, this is a freedom thread. I'm not saying "more rights for NBC" or anything for any specific person, I'm saying "more rights for EVERYBODY" It's not just tix, ever since Erik passed away(may he rest in peace), things have gone downhill. He was like the glue holding everything from going too far or too little. I support price-floor removal or reduction. I also support multiple hair. Why? Not because of ODing, In fact I think 2 hairs is usually ugly! But if that's how players wish to look, so be it, let them!

I like the way you think, support. Idiotic, yet intelligent.

I agree, I am idiotic yet intelligent. I do indeed have flaws, after all I am a human being too :) Penguin, I never said to force anything to be free, I said it should be an option. You know real life charities and community service? Some people like giving stuff to other people! You can run a business and still occasionally give things away for free, like those free samples you always find in stores!

The fact that tix were never completely removed should be a sign that even they considered the possibility of re-adding them.

i got a question because i haven't been paying attention because i don't really care about money on this game anymore but did the removal of tickets also take with it the daily income for nbc users entirely?

#205004622Thursday, December 22, 2016 2:49 AM GMT

Yes, it did. Now NBC players can only make money through selling GAMEPASSES (roblox encouraging pay2win here...) but they have a 90% tax... We can't complain about 3.0 and bacon hair if they don't HAVE anything else to wear...

Just because PART of the Tix script is still in the website does not mean that the WHOLE Tix system will be back, let alone any of it.

thank you for the explanation another question: what does one gain from place visits now? robux? or just nothing? i am curious though; how do you propose tickets become relevant if they do ever become reintroduced? once roblox made it clear that they were going to prioritize robux over tickets, the value of a ticket plummeted and continued to drown. one of the ways to get value from tickets was to, well, get a lot of them and trade them for robux. this is what led to the increase in bot activity for the currency trading system, which just further ruined the value of tickets. additionally, having tickets as a reward for playing games incentivized the idea of creating games for "the front page," which typically consisted of poorly made games that were appealing because of cheap, ephemeral trends. not going to lie though, after a brief look, i cannot tell if the front page games have changed much. so that second point may be not as effective as i thought it'd be. regardless, the problem still exists in that tickets, if reintroduced, would need to be made relevant again in a way that doesn't involve simply manipulating their existence to transfer them into robux, the currency of actual value on this game.

Good point with the front page games. But roblox has already shown they don't care if the games they put events on are bad and trashy, they would willingly do it again. And with more money, developers can hire builders and scripters to make better games.

REVISED DRAFT: Any potential "Personal-attacks" have been removed. We know tickets are still coded into the website. Players with tickets, they still have the tickets on their account, its just that they can't spend them since no items are being sold for tickets any longer! How we know this: remember that hat you accidentally sold for tickets shortly after ticket removal? People bought it for tickets! The tickets were still on their account! And don't complain it's been 8 months. Payday 2 players complained and finally, after over a YEAR, they got their wish, they were freed from microtransactions that were promised to never happen. Just like you, ROBLOX, who promised "be anything, it's free". I realize companies need to make a profit, but the way to do it is not to remove the problems, but to FIX them! You have hit a glass ceiling, and while your earnings may be huge now, they will not be so great in the future... At the pace you're going, it's almost like one of those Early Access games that never get finished because the developers just wanted a cash grab! Don't abandon the players, Roblox! Reasons TIX-removal supporters give for why tix removal was good: Reason 1: Bots! My comment: Perhaps a small issue, but this was never a "problem" that was discussed until people gave up on saving tix. Next reason? Reason 2: Inflation My comment: Caused by price floor. Next reason. Reason 3: "but muh money the poor people can't have money and roblox is a business" My comment: And you complain about people with 3.0 So, after deconstructing those reasons, let's take a look at how Tix could have been fixed, instead of outright removed: 1.) To fix bots, you just make it so currency is not a "daily login bonus" but rather, the guys at ROBLOX would take the top rated games, and add specific achievements to them, that give currency. This would also make the name "tickets" make more sense; like an arcade game! 2.) To fix inflation, lower the price floor to 10 tickets, and allow clothing to be made free. Simple enough. 3.) "but muh money the poor people can't have money and roblox is a business" is a horrible argument. I don't even need to deconstruct this one, it's that bad. These are my reasons why I believe that I should stand up for this after all this time, and how I see the current economy of ROBLOX. Robux fission may work too. Constructive criticism is welcomed, you can not support, but please leave a reason why or you actually breaking forum rules. TL;DR: read it
