Since we now have a Notification System, I think it should be nice to add the ability to mention users/players on posts/threads in which the Post Creator can or not allow it, a checkbox like we have for "Do not allow replies to this post."
How mentioning could work:
- Prefix before username "@" - example: "@LazP ...."
- Whenever you type @ and any letter it will show everyone that posted on the thread already and your friendlist (filtered so its user-friendly) and only those users you can mention.
- When you get mentioned by someone they will get a notification.
- Can be disabled on Notifications Settings.
We could also add this functionality on Chats in which they get a highlight or prompt about it. |
