This guide is mandatory for all enlisted Luftwaffe personnel to learn the procedures for each step of properly flying in any of the air craft. This guide will be explained in detail on how to properly handle the aircraft. -Pictures will be implemented into this guide to help the enlisted personnel understand a more clear image on what to do and how to do this. -There are three main colors that represent the following indications on the images: -Blue = In flight. -Green = Taking off. -Red = Taxiing *and as marker.* -The following aircraft for the Luftwaffe include: 1)Focke Wulf 190. 2)Messerschmitt BF-109. 3)Junkers Ju 87. 4)Heinkel He 111. 5)Messerschmitt ME 262 *NOTE* Each aircraft use the same script, however they have slightly different speed settings, so it is highly suggested that one remembers the difference between the 5 aircraft. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [TAKE OFF PROCEDURE] STEP 1) When getting into the cockpit of the aircraft, take a moment to read over the controls if you're not familiar with how the aircraft functions. STEP 2) When you're ready, you will inform your flight instructor that you're 'Ready for take off'. You ###l then be signaled by the flight instructor to taxi the aircraft from where you will be signaled to take off from the airfield by your flight instructor. *This image below depicts where to to take off each time you taxi the aircraft.* h###################################################---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STEP 3) Your standard flight speed is to be set at 50% exact, this is the proper speed to be going during a patrol, training, or trial. *This image depicts what your throttle speed will be set at, at all times unless an emergency* htt###################################################*NOTE* If however there are enemy aircraft at the base, then full throttle speed of 100% is authorized, but that is only if the enemy does not have any aircraft in the air.* ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STEP 4) Once you've taken off properly, your flight instructor will inform you that your landing gear is to always be up when flying (G) -At war zones, Luftwaffe personnel are permitted to fly if no NCO or OCS or the commander himself is in the game, however if either of those three are in the same game, then you must ask permission. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [LANDING PROCEDURE] - When coming in for a safe landing, you're to do the following steps: STEP 1) When coming around for your landing, you're to align yourself with the direction you're only permitted to land during a training or trial, do not cut the air strip in an attempt to land half way. *This depicts the direction you're to face when you attempt to land.* h###################################################---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STEP 2) Your throttle speed for making a landing is to be set at 15% exact, so that you slow down enough to make the safe landing. *This image depicts the throttle speed for which you are to use when slowing down for an attempted landing* ht################################################## *NOTE* This throttle speed also applies to the taxi speed of the aircraft. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STEP 3) Make sure to check that your landing gear is down and not up to make a proper landing when attempting to land (G) STEP 4) Your aircraft is to be pointing straight as you attempt to make the landing, make sure you're not nose diving into the air strip when landing. STEP 5) Once you've made the safe landing, turn off the aircraft engine (Y), and disable the plane tool and then jump out. -There are also tests on this guide, as well as on the Commands/Responses guide. -The flight training section is also the grading period, on which you will be graded from A to F based on performance.
