The year is 2454 and magic is now rampant throughout the world. Hundreds of years ago a giant gate suddenly appeared in the sky. No one knows why it appeared or where it came from. A number of years were spent trying to study the gate with few results. Until Elias Magnus approached the gate.
Elias Magnus forced the gate to open for him with the sheer force of his will. The gate opened, he stepped inside, and wasn't seen for a whole year. When he emerged, he had the ability to call up magic through will. His family has become the best evokers in the world since then.
Several other people have gotten through the gate using different means and gained access to other forms of mystical power.
After a while, magic related murder and crime began to rise and become a major problem. The governments of the world gathered together and made some decisions to help drop the danger of magic users. Such as the opening of Wormwood academy. It's a school where young mages can be set aside from normal people to keep humans safe. The school is now starting it's fourth year and the world is still afraid things will not end well. Tension can get high for High School as it is, let alone when there's magic in the mix.
On top of everything, there are pro-human groups that are trying to get the school shut down, afraid that mages will destroy the world with their power. The school is hidden from normal people by magic, but it's just a matter of time before someone gets ambitious enough to go looking for it.
There are also several groups popping up that want to clean up the blood of magic users. Some family lines don't get along and hold grudges against each other. There are alliances being made to take out some of the families. It's getting more and more dangerous to be a mage.

Bio: Seth likes to be alown he is mostly training or doing work of some sort so he doesn't have many friends but that has never stoped him his parents are dead and he doesn't know where his brother is and he's one of the most powerful people at the school. |

Magic types: Nature, I have been talking to animals for a while so i can to that perfectly. I talk to them in words and they talk back, but to people around me it sounds just like normal animal sounds. I can also control water.. aka.. nature. Haha. I can make things grow and thing.. shrink back down but just plants, trees, vines and grass.

Bio: I normally have two bluebirds on my shoulders that don't move unless i tell them too. I am not very liked because of the way i look. People bully me and think i'm a freak.
