With or without a God, this universe shall still be governed by the same laws, and the physical world shall not be altered. However, I am of the persuasion that because our world is governed by laws, and guided by predictable forces, that a God must therefore exist.

God is a necessary being. All things operate on a system, on mathematical and repeatable forces, even human nature. Additionally, all things have causes and effects. If the world operates on mathematical forces, which is an effect, then there must be an original cause, which must be a God.

How does the existence of natural law suggest the existence of god, Virgil? Where is the connection? |
|
|
As I stated, all things in this universe are either causes or effects, and often times after becoming an effect, become a cause. If thinks of the universe as a chain of causes and effects, and one considers the very beginning of the universe, there must have been a cause not only for the physical creation, but also the laws by which creation must be governed. Because all things within the universe are orderly, then one must conclude that the laws themselves are orderly, and if all things have a cause, then the laws must have a cause as well. This cause must be orderly as well, as order cannot ## #### from chaos. Hence, an intelligent designer, or some being from without our universe, which we have named God. ~Virgil~ |

but who made trees nibba |

To put it in the simplest possible terms, unless the laws of the universe contradict themselves, they necessitate a God, for all things have a cause, and the beginning cause is God.

ok lemme step out of meme mode for a sec
then who created god? |
|
|
The natural law of causation exists only within the natural world, just as time or gravity. God does not require a cause, because he created the law of causation.

And if God existed, why should he be worshipped? |
