as someone who studies linguistics, i would say bis__xual means attracted to two xeses in the etymological sense, but semantically, it has more nuance than that, for example it might not mean just two xeses, and actually, people use it to describe what GENDERS they're attracted to, not xeses, as is etymologically implied |

and if you don't want to label yourself, you don't have to. but you can find other people with the same orientation (or similar) if you do. you would probably get more help from them, anyway
