▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ARTICLE I - EXECUTIVE OPERATIONS : ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Section I: The Executive Branch shall consist of one (1) Governor, one (1) Lieutenant Governor, Executive Cabinet, City Mayors, Executive Department Directors, and Executive Capital Staff. Section II: The Governor and his/her Lieutenant Governor serve six month terms. One sole individual may not serve more than two terms as the Governor of the State of Illinois. If the Lieutenant Governor takes office after the resignation/removal of the Governor, the remaining portion of the term does not count towards the limit. Section III: The Governor of the State of Illinois may fire any executive branch employee if they have reasonable evidence of that individual committing any wrongdoing. First Amendment rights or any guaranteed rights may not be used as evidence for removal. Section IV: The Governor of the State of Illinois is responsible for nominating the Chief Court Justice and Supreme Court Justices. Section V: The Governor of the State of Illinois may appoint any individual to fill any position in the executive branch. Section VI: The Lieutenant Governor of the State of Illinois shall take office if the Governor is removed/resigns. Section VII: The Executive Branch shall manage the State Capitol Building. They shall not withhold any Government Official from entering the grounds without having a valid reason. Section VIII: The Governor may issue a statewide State of Emergency. This places law enforcement on high alert due to high criminal activity, exploiting, or any other reasonable cause. Mayors may declare a State of Emergency for their specific city. Tourists shall not be promoted during State of Emergencies. Section IX: The Office of the Governor is the primary department of responsibility in the Executive Branch. The Chief of Staff is considered the highest executive cabinet official in the State of Illinois. Section X: The Founder or owner of the State of Illinois is not to be involved in the political process and may only make recommendations. However, he/she has the ability to conduct Gubernatorial Elections and anything else requested/mandated by the administration and/or Congress. Section XI: The Governor of the State of Illinois may declare martial law. Martial law is only necessary during a heavy attack or any other major need. The Governor is responsible for determining which departments are and aren’t necessary throughout the time the martial law is active. Section XII: The Governor of the State of Illinois may make recommendations to the Docklands State Legislature. The Governor is responsible for giving a bimonthly speech to the State Legislature and public in the House Chamber. The Governor addresses key issues, introduces legislation, etc. Section XIII: The Governor and Secretary of State are responsible for constructing a foreign policy for the administration. The Governor shall be responsible for appointing Ambassadors to represent the State of Illinois in other foreign nations. Section XIV: The Governor of the State of Illinois may enact Executive Orders. Executive Orders only apply to the Executive Branch and may be repealed by future Governors, Congress, and the Supreme Court. Section XV: The Chief of Staff is responsible for managing Executive Capital Staff.
