First, it's just like those video game leagues like CSGO where you have announcers and judges and try to act like you're an actual sports event
Secondly, you have this dude who made the "draft" https://www.roblox.com/users/81703153/profile
Also I can understand CSGO and league competitions a little bit better than this since standard FPS and RPG makes more sense than a competition event with Lego characters jumping around shooting lasers at each other |

There's nothing wrong with making a competition that incentivises people to play by offering a prize. If people like to play and watch then you are attacking people for their opinion. The problem/flaw with the RGL draft is that there wasn't really a method devised for players who were unknown, to show their skill, yes there were "tryouts" but they were simply spars which was down to ###### and DMG farming, which everyone was essentially doing. Then there's the problem of coaches being incompetent, for example, Altair "guaranteed" places to members who then didn't go to tryouts or speak to other coaches, to find out he had snaked them and "adapted" by changing his mind without informing them. That's the problem, corruption/disrespect among the coaches and the lack of chances for players to show their skill. |

Competitive forms of gaming are competitive regardless of what occurs. RCL is a competitive form of gaming on ROBLOX, look at ROBLOX CSGO and Phantom Forces as an example. It's a bunch of legos running around shooting eachother but it still makes money and attracts an audience.
The draft had 800 viewers and actual casters, it was a huge success and the season will be a huge success. RCL isn't a well renowned E-Sport but that isn't the intended purpose. |

"look at ROBLOX CSGO and Phantom Forces as an example. It's a bunch of legos running around shooting eachother but it still makes money and attracts an audience."
And does RGL have the same effect

"When people throw facts at you, but you're way too opinionated to understand"
The only facts given are what describes what RGL is and not how it doesn't look dumb on twitch streams |
|
|
If you paid attention to the draft and the hype surrounding it then you would understand. Of course it won't have the same level of recognition as ROBLOX CSGO or Phantom Forces but it's still well renowned.
Your point also wasn't how popular it is so why are you trying to switch your argument? |

Here's the thing. You said a "pupper is a doggo."
Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that.
As someone who is a scientist who studies puppers, doggos, yappers, and even woofers, I am telling you, specifically, in doggology, no one calls puppers doggos. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing.
If you're saying "doggo family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Doggodaemous, which includes things from sub woofers to birdos to sharkos (the glub glub kind not the bork bork kind).
So your reasoning for calling a pupper a doggo is because random people "call the small yip yip ones doggos?" Let's get penguos and turkos in there, then, too.
Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A pupper is a pupper and a member of the doggo family. But that's not what you said. You said a pupper is a doggo, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the doggo family doggos, which means you'd call piggos, sluggos, and other species doggos, too. Which you said you don't.
It's okay to just admit you're wrong, you know?
