-topic- Anyone ever notice the difference in the view count and comment count in the forums? How about the casual single word comments that spam argumentative forums [ex] "support" "agree" "for sure" "yea" It does not really seem like an issue to most but I think it deserves attention. Not entirely from Roblox staff but also from the frequent users of these forums. It's difficult to really discuss topics knowing that it won't be visible on the front page for more than 5 minutes. Roblox forums, in my experience tend to be black holes where information disappears dialy. Perhaps the reason for our short minded comments is a lack of community, Roblox forum users want to post something then leave. In some one sided way people will decide they want something to change, make a post about it, then don't stick around much longer to view other things. I have only recently begun looking into forums more frequently but what I'm finding is that due to the system Roblox has in place older forums tend to disappear quickly. When forums vanish from the front page the topic simply resets itself. I decided to do an experiment, the details are as follows: -experiment- Check the forums every 15 minutes for an hour between 12:00 and 1:00 est. Do this for 3 days. When you check look for repetitive forums, topics that have already appeared in the last checks. You would be surprised how often things are repeated in the forums. I did not actually actually record the data this time how ever I intend to try the experiment again. -solution- My only issue with this is that Roblox forums have set a trend to be lazy and incomplete with very little momentum. This is what I believe to be the argument: "If no forum stays in the eye of the public for very long, then what is the point of making it?" I cannot agree more, but that's the issue, if there is no incentive to make forums of quality then we continue to make the same forums over and over with very little ACTUAL communication. I believe that if the Roblox community became more adamant on finding forums that match there topic, rather than making short minded new ones, our forums would receive more attention and support. So far the only solution that I have thought of is to divide the forums even more, first off, make categories of relevancy and an update system, make it so people can use a dropdown bar to view newer forums, upvoted forums, most upvoted forums (all time) supported forums (forums that Roblox staff like) and forums that receive the most comments/views. Then in order to keep the update system function from maintaining forums that are no longer relevant on the front page, upvotes only stay on a forum for a certain amount of time (Unless it's in the all time category). I would see this system as a simple button with an arrow on the side of the forum, there is potential for a downvote system as well but it's not necessarily relevant. Hopefully this forum survives the black hole long enough to be seen by a fair amount of people willing to comment there support. -conclusion- I would like to see changes in the Roblox forum community and it's relevance system, though it may not be that big of a deal, it would significantly change the level of purpose and quality forum posts maintain. It's difficult considering most of the forum users are children however I believe lower quality forums could be filtered out of the spotlight by this system. -Please add your opinion to the comments- Staff: Please bring this topic up during one of your meetings to discuss other solutions that would bring more quality to the forums. I would love to see a new system implemented that could improve the quality of the Roblox forums. -other- I apologize for posting a duplicate of this forum in Roblox talk, I had accidentally put it in the wrong category. Please do not remove this post as spam because it was truly an accident.

TLDR is exactly the problem I have addressed, if you don't want to read the whole thing at least read the solution box.
