Introduction:
==========================
In this Guide, you will learn how you can get promoted to different "Low Ranks" (LR), how to get promoted to an officer rank and a general rank and when and how you will get demoted/exiled.
=========================
1. Promotion Introduction:
=========================
In the TUAA, we use a point system to promote people.
To gain points, you will have to attend trainings and raids. Everytime you attend a training or a raid (from start to finish), you will gain a point.*
*Only applies to "LRs". Officers can get promoted if shown
==========================
1a. Requirements for Promotion:
==========================
Private to Corporal: Required 5 points
Corporal to Sergeant: Required 10 points
Sergeant to First Sergeant: Required 20 points
First Sergeant to Quartermaster: Required 30 points
Quartermaster to Sergeant Major: Required 40 points and must pass a Pre-Officer Test.**
*Every time you are promoted, the points are reset back to 0.
**In order to get promoted to Sergeant Major, you will need to pass the Pre-Officer test given by a Major General or higher. To get promoted to a Sergeant Major, you will need to show activity, maturity, commanding skills (both drill and on the field) and combat skills.
==========================
1b. Getting Promoted to Officer and General Ranks:
==========================
In order to get promoted to Second Lieutenant (2nd Lt.), you will need to pass the officer test given by a Major General or higher. You must be a Sergeant Major to take the test.
To get promoted to a higher officer rank, you will need to show activity, maturity, commanding skills (both drill and on the field) and combat skills.
In order to get promoted to the General Ranks (Major General+), you will need to be promoted by the CIC or a General. Tips that will help you get promoted to a General rank is showing loyalty, activity, maturity, commanding skills (both drill and on field), and combat skills. You must be a Colonel to be able to be promoted to a Major General.
==========================
2. Demotion/Exilement:
==========================
There are many rules in the Union. Breaking one or more will get you demoted/exiled no matter what rank you are.* These rules include:
i) Do not disrespect a higher ranked (Officer, General or the Commander in Chief). This includes (but not limited to) making threats and bullying.
ii) Do not break ROBLOX rules. This includes (but not limited to) exploiting.
iii) Do not disobey orders from a higher ranked (Officer, General or the Commander in Chief).
iv) Do not team kill anyone at any rank.
v) Do not Admin Abuse. This includes (but not limited to) using unnecessary commands that is not needed for the event and promoting/free ranking people that does not meet the requirements.
vi) Do not commit treason against the Union. This includes (but not limited to) giving out information about the Union to the enemy (CSA), team killing, and joining the CSA.
vii) Do not be untruthful to your superiors.
*See when you get demoted/exiled in section 2a.
=========================
2a. When you get demoted/Exiled:
=========================
When an officer, a general or the Commander in Chief catches you in the act or had committed one of the above (shown in Section 2.), you will only get ONE in-game and ONE writen (via ROBLOX messaging system) warning.* LRs are able to report to officer, generals and the Commander in Chief either by in-game or via ROBLOX messaging system.
If you choose to break another rule, you will be demoted/exiled depending on the rule. You will be demoted if you broke ONE rule (after the warning) and if the rules are i, ii, iii, iv, v. You will be exiled if you broke MORE than one rule (after the warning) and/or the rules are vi, vii.
If you choose to break another rule after being demoted, you will be exiled, no matter what/how much rule(s) was broken.
*Depending on which rule has been broken/in the act of breaking. You will only receive a warning (both writen and in-game) when you have only broke/breaking a rule AND you have broke/breaking rule i, ii, iii, iv, v.
