[Introduction]
This will be separated in a few different parts addressing some current problems within the NCR.
- Introduction
- Discipline
- Hosting
- Representation
As of late, I've seen a lot of different people chastise the NCR for a myriad of different reasons. I'm kind of sick of it, to be honest. Some of it is well founded and reasonable, others are less than true. I hate New Year's Resolutions, but I'm submitting one right now. In the words of Mr. Pink from Reservoir Dogs, we're getting "professional". Discipline will have to be properly enforced, so instead of being a loose coalition of members we'll be a proper force within Fallout Universe. For the Bear!
[ Discipline ]
I host a lot. Admittedly, a lot of people lack discipline. Many abandon their posts, are reckless, and even endanger their fellow troopers. Some people are just insubordinate, just for the reason they think they're better. I want a new start for the NCR, a clean slate. So, let's talk basics, first of all.
- Call superior officers sir / ma'am, while NCOs and below are either called by rank or 'trooper'.
- Do as you're told. If you think they're unreasonable, take it up with the Military Police or an HR.
- POST ABANDONMENT. It seems like people have a hard time following this, and feel the need to run off so they can chase some thugs. In the long run, it'll probably get you killed, demoted, or simply reprimanded.
[ Hosting ]
NCR has seen some less activity, mainly because a lot of officers simply aren't hosting.
When we can, we remove some, but for the sake of the group, I ask one thing of both parties:
Hosters - Host. Every event helps.
Attendees - Attend, we like seeing people at our events.
[ Representation ]
Every time you go out to the Vegas Outskirts, (soon to have other places) you represent the NCR. A lot of people complain about "so and so attacked us" or "you guys attacked us". It's all idiocy, truth be told. When you're out there, you better keep us in a positive light. Just be reasonable, and don't jump to conclusions.
