"It wasn't MY idea," I put my hands on my hips.
"Anyways, I say he should be an outside dog. Everyone knows that it's safer for your clothing and--"
I was interrupted by my little sister.
[ASHLYN]
"PUPPY!" I shouted, running downstairs.
Bossy Melody grabbed me by my shirt collar. I couldn't run anymore, but I wanted to see the doggie.
"Ashie, NO, don't you DARE touch the mutt in THAT clothing!" She snapped.
I looked down at my clothes. White overalls with a pink shirt. What was her problem? Sisters are a PAIN.
"Go put on a raincoat, THEN you can hold him and play games or whatever crap it is you plan on doing with that MUTT."
I groaned, "LET ME GO."
"Why?" My sister asked.
"Because," I pouted.
She let go of my collar, spun me around, and pushed me towards the raincoats. I ran the other way, to the puppy, instead. |

I was quite scared at that moment. She brought me out, paid, and took me home in a nice-looking car. When I looked at her face, she wasn't happy AT ALL. She was glaring. This would be a nice trip. I barked and whined, but she didn't care to listen. At a bump, we arrived at the house. I heard her mumble something and she pulled me under her jacket. It still was raining. She opened the door, and I could see this large house. I was amazed, and a little girl. I heard them talking about problems and the little girl was up stairs by then. |

She placed me in a regular kitchen and opened the back door. It was pitch black, and all I could see was a tiny light and a doghouse. I wasn't happy with this, and started whining. She groaned. And technically, I was clean. I get washed every week. I heard the sisters fighting over a raincoat and then I heard little running steps sprinting towards me. What now? What would I do? Escape? |
