Basically just how you fight really.
Hybrid: mix of Classic and Mouse-lock. Changing from Mouselock to classic rather quickly to get to your opponents blind spot
Classic: you just use the WASD keys to manuver around and fight. This is perhaps my weakest type..
Mouselock: Full on Mouselock. This is in my opinion a defensive style since you constantly follow the opponent keeping your guard up, and keeping them away from your left side. |

i use grab your opponent slam them on the table take off their clothes then take out your big veiny monster sword and defeat them |

Oh boy. I don't really know how to properly classify all of it so I'll try to explain it best I can. When people talk about styles they're talking about several things. The first is, as you mentioned, whether or not it's classic, ML or first person. To be honest, few people use first person now, so it's really between ML and classic. ML is the most used style in this regard. Then there is the defensive/offensive style conundrum. Some people work very hard to learn to never rush in. You essentially just play defensively waiting for opponents to make the first move and trying to counter. These are usually the styles used by "clutchers" in scrimmages. Offensive styles work around chasing and rushing, usually a lot of glitching for snipe kills or drops. Some people develop a style around a glitch. SJers do this in particular. "Styles" just means how individuals fight. ML or classic, offensive or defensive, glitch based, glitch assisted etc etc. |
