𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞
The decisive battle simulates the bloodiest battles, and the most decisive ones. It is an averagely long battle, and includes melee as much as shooting. This is the most common battle type to be used.
Rules:
-Line Infantry must fire volleys (Not allowed to fire at will);
-Line Infantry must be in formation;
-Light Infantry is allowed to fire at will, in an open-order-line formation.
𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧
The battalion is a type of battle which simulates an encounter of two battalions in the conflict. As such, everyone is included in the same formation, no matter what regiment. No flanking movements are allowed, and maintaining the formation's integrity is crucial, as breaking formation is considered a defeat.
Rules:
-All regiments must be in the same formation;
-No flanking movements;
-Breaking the formation in even the slighest way will result in defeat;
-Must fire in volleys;
-Can only charge and engage in melee combat after at least 2 volleys;
-The depth of the formation must be of at least 2 ranks.
