how to keep your games icon invisible to others?

quick question, I've scrolled over the green game icon in my online friends list and sometimes it just read "online" instead of the game they're playing. yes, I've tried to set my settings to allow no one to follow me, but my friends can still look and see what i'm playing. that bothers me because they start to message me nonstop. is there anyway i can set it to just show "online" like some of my friends do? help. thanks.

it's actually a bug when it says online instead of the game their playing, are u sure u want to bring this upon urself?

the bug is happening to me and my friends never join me because they don't know what i'm playing

i wish it was possible to make it invisible. i don't want to have to switch alt accounts just to escape my friend's eye.

yeah, but me and a lot of other people are looking for the cause and solution for this, its super annoying. you should post that to the suggestions forum or something
