Hiring Process
The Lake View Police Department hiring process begins with meeting the candidate requirements of the department. After meeting the department requirements, you may proceed to the department’s application. The application consists of 20 questions. To submit the application, you may copy the application into an email or direct message to Chief Arklawenforcement. After completing this application, you may then be interviewed. If you pass the requirements, application, and interview, then you will be accepted into the Lake View Police Department, and will then proceed to the law enforcement academy, if you do not have prior certification. - Candidates must speak basic English, as well as use grammar correctly.
- Candidates must know basic Federal laws.
- Candidates must know what the job of a law enforcement officer is.
- Candidates must be respectful and courteous of others.
- Candidates may not wear any type of character package while applying to the department.
- Candidates must dress professionally when being interviewed.
