This guide will give you the description of every rank and the duties of most ranks.

1. Waiting Assignment: People who have just been accepted and are waiting to become an agent in training. This rank has no duties in DSS.
2. Suspended: People who have broken any rule. They are not allowed to be on the DSS team or doing any DSS duties.
3. Agent in Training: Anyone who is being trained to become an agent in training.
4. Uniformed Security Officer: A USO is a Special Agent with the Diplomatic Security Service/Bureau tasked with visibility patrol at the Truman building in DC. USO's ensure security in the lobby, around the outside of the building and ensure that visitors do not go into the wings uninvited.
5. Security Protective Specialist: An agent who has passed their training and is now a full-agent. SPS are responsible for guarding any State Department VIP including: A foreign ambassador/diplomat, a United States Ambassador/Diplomat, the Deputy Secretary of State, and the Secretary of State. SPS also do perimeter checks and does security for any State Department event.
6. Mobile Security Deployment: The tactical version of SPS. These agents are called in when there is a threat detected or when there is a lock down. MSD also have the ability to be called to protect a State Department VIP (See 5.)
7. Special Agent in Charge: Under the directive of their CSA the SAIC is in charge of a specified team. They're the lead Special Agent that will be tasked and held fully responsible for the security of the VIP under their protection.
8. Chief Special Agent: CSA are in charge of coordinating all things in game. They have the ability to call full lock downs, and can hold trainings. Follow any orders that come from a CSA.
9. Director: Obvious duties. Recruiting members, training, and coordinating anything that involves DSS. Can call full lock downs.

Promotions will be gived to AITs when they are finished with their training. WAs most of the time will be promoted to AITs right away when they are accepted.
