Semifinals:
Ottawa Oblivion FC (Death) vs Toronto FC (Thomas)
Buffalo FC (VACANT) vs Tampa Bay Panthers
A lot riding on this. The Tampa Bay Panthers are becoming known as the "Tampa Bad Boys" due to their mafia nature. Ottawa vs Tampa favorites to meet in the final right now. |

Orlando media was pleased with the effort and performance of Manager Wist. What they aren't happy about is that he may want to take the Ottawa job. One reporter from the Orlando Sun named Ano Guin had this to comment: "ROFL ! HE WANTS OTTAWA ! HE CANT GET HIGHER THAN 10TH IN ORLANDO ! ROFL ! WISTGUIN TAKES L'S !". Wist releases an article with Sports Illustrated about how he wants to go to higher lengths and win a championship with Orlando to show loyalty to Floridians. Wist's future is bouncing around.

POST-CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
FC Edmonton's Champions League campaign comes to an end, and many supporters are left wondering how it could have gone in a non-rebuilding season, and how the team managed to lose to Buffalo regardless. Co-owner Cap was asked to comment on the defeat, and all he could reply with was a very simple "What. The. Actual. [REDACTED]."
Brad, back from his vacation which has confirmed to not have been rehab, narrowly avoided being injured in yet another Edmonton riot as he was arriving at the team's headquarters from the airport. One of the more peaceful fans was reached for an interview, in which they commented, "Unlucky seasons and campaigns like this happen. Physics were going entirely in Buffalo's way and that kind of stuff happens." The fan proceeded to comment about similar things happening to Louisiana in the RHL, which they specified as their favorite league, before adding, "On the bright side, our local CFL team is better than the Bills." |

Hartford Hawks are slightly disappointed to not advance past the group stage, but the fans are content enough with finishing over the Hartford Whales.
With current goals being focused on the league, and win would be bonus as mostly backups were used.
Regardless, next time Champions League comes around, Hartford expects the club to be in a state where advancement to knockouts is a must. |

@Drbat JUST PICK A ######### TEAM
Semifinals:
Toronto FC 3-1 Ottawa Oblivion FC
Ottawa Oblivion FC 1-1 Toronto FC
Aggregate: Ottawa Oblivion FC 2-4 Toronto FC
Tampa Bay Panthers 6-2 Buffalo
Buffalo FC 0-1 Tampa Bay Panthers
Aggregate: Buffalo FC 2-7 Tampa Bay Panthers
Shocking stuff here. 6th ranked Toronto FC has shocked the tournament favorites and will be playing powerhouse Tampa Bay in the finals. An inspired 3-1 win at home was all Ottawa needed to progress as they were able to park the bus in Ottawa. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay absolutely routed 25th ranked Buffalo FC as many expected. It was a glorious run by the New York team, however.
It's Tampa Bay Panthers (Paco) vs Toronto FC (Vez) in the final. USA v Canada. |

SEASON 5/6 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL:
Tampa Bay Panthers 4-0 Toronto FC
Massive victory for SirPaco's side as he announces himself as a prominent manager in the ISL. This victory marks Tampa Bay's first silverware, joining Washington (2), Edmonton, Saint Louis, and Los Angeles as the only teams in Sim-ISL to win trophies. The fans in Florida will remember this one forever. SirPaco will go down as a club legend. |

With the Champions League over, let's take a look at the teams. It works this way: Depending on whether you lived up to expectations, met them, or exceeded them, your rating changed. The higher rated you were, the more you had to lose in terms of rating. For the lower rated teams, it was the opposite. San Diego and Columbus both gain +5 in rating, while Ottawa and Washington all suffer a massive -5 for failing to live up to expectations. Edmonton and Minnesota also suffered -5 but both got +1 points for their offseason moves.
Season 6 Preseason Ratings:
Ottawa Oblivion FC Rating: 95 (-5) Owner: Death
Edmonton Rating: 95 (-4) Owner: Cap
Tampa Bay Panthers Rating: 98 (2) Owner: SirPaco
Washington Walruses Rating: 87 (-5) Owner: Bung
Minnesota Stars Rating: 81 (-4) Owner: Apple
Toronto FC Rating: 85 (1) Owner: Vez
Seattle Freeze Rating: 81 (1) Owner: Anojuan
Saint Louis Gateways Rating: 72 (-4) Owner: iSportz
Boston Rating: 75 (0) Owner: Camboo
Hartford Hawks Rating: 70 (-3) Owner: Tiny
Portland Penguins Rating: 68 (-4) Owner: VACANT
Orlando Rating: 72 (1) Owner: Wist
Washington FC Rating: 63 (-4) Owner: VACANT
Monterrey Flash Rating: 67 (2) Owner: Vik
