USMC Training Guide (For O-1+):
Trainings start off with drill. Faces, Inclines, Jumping Jacks, and more. Then Marines are marched to Obstacle Courses that Marines must finish in 3 minutes or less; if they fail that 3 minutes, they do 35 JJs (Jumping Jacks). Then they are marched to some covered areas, to practice shooting. Close range, long range, tasering, and taking cover. Then they will be marched to a an area to do 5 laps around the area. After all that is done, Marines will be brought back to the Parade Deck (PD) where they began the training. You will salute as the national anthem is played. If the Officer thinks a Marine is worthy of promotion, they will individually walk up to the Marines, and state the rank they will be promoted to if they are being promoted. After that, they are to salute you, then they are dismissed. After a training, it will be night, and you will take all Marines and yourself to the barracks to take a sleep. Officers sleep on the top floor, and other Marines on the bottom. When you wake up, wake up the recruits and get them in At Ease next to their beds. Inspect them and their beds to make sure they are clean, neat, and ready for the day. If they are not make them do 25 JJs. Inspect their storage, make sure they are not keeping childish things like candy bars, or anything immature. Then continue the day. They are to be put on Sentry Duty until a Training or Parade is hosted. |
