Why do I own NFC?
Today, Legender informed the NFC council and several veterans including myself of his resignation. Since NFC has undergone gone quite a few leadership changes in the past few years, I've decided to step in and take ownership of the group to ensure that it remains in the hands of people who genuinely care for it. While I will be providing financial and substantial recruitment stimulus to NFC through Novaly Studios, I will not be handling daily operations and be left in charge of implementing its organizational structure.
Instead, NFC veterans, high ranks, and recent former high ranks, will vote for the candidate they believe will make the best leader for the group.
The pool of candidates are:
Mertes
Rescinded
WoopiWoopi
As part of the election process, each of these candidates is expected to make a thread summarizing why they should lead NFC. The thread should focus entirely on the set of plans a candidate has to offer to NFC and provide reasons as to why they believe that they are qualified for the position. Smearing others and pressuring voters is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate disqualification of any candidate who transgresses.
Additionally, there will be a live public debate hosted tomorrow at 2PM. Each candidate is expected to come prepared. The set up of the debate will be 1. candidates will get up to 10 minutes for their opening segments, followed by 2. questions from the host that will be up for debate (30-45min), ending with 3. questions from the participating public (15-20m). Afterwards, those cleared for voting on the new leader will be allowed to do so via the ROBLOX messaging system or discord DMs. The new leader will be declared tomorrow at 5PM.

I hate that we have to treat this like an American election because actual lineage stopped being a thing, but if that's what it takes to save NFC then I don't mind taking part in it.

Yes an election will divide us, because of the fact that everybody has to choose a side. And when somebody is chosen that they don't agree with, NFC will be completely confusing and chaotic for the next several days.

The only solution to this is lineage, and we can't just appoint somebody with no say. Without lineage an election is the only thing we can do.
