I understand the social aspects and relaxation conception of watching sports or something I really don't get watching other people get paid millions to play a game, while you sit on your butt with junk food watching them. Could someone just tell me how to this works? I play soccer myself but actually loath sitting doing nothing while other people seem to be having fun.

its just like the phenomenon known as nationalism the sport team becomes "part of you" and you become happy when the team does well and sad/angry when it performs badly. soon it becomes an obsession

You know men today are becoming weak when they'd rather watch sports than play them

so its alot like human tribalism? lol i guess a way to compare it is watching your political party candidate debate the opposition in a debate.

One of the reasons people get paid to play is due to them risking their life and limbs while performing. Medical bills are crazy expensive when stacked up over time.
