{RHL-DL} The return of the RHL minor league!!

Please post below if you are either interested in owning a team or interested in playing (and not currently on a team)... **I know this a lot to read, but please take the time to read it** With the recent spike in activity, especially by new members, we're looking to have a place for people who are new to play, as owners in the RHL have proven that they don't want to spend money and take risks on people they know nothing about. That being said, we want to keep the RHL-DL's mission like it was in the past: have a place for newbies to play, but also allow team owners a chance to scout them and see if they are worth signing. In the returning season (Season 3) of RHL-DL at the very least, there will be no affiliation with RHL teams and RHL-DL teams. While the league will be running the minor league, team owners will not be able to call up or send down players because we have already started the season and linking teams together would be hard to do with a four-team minor league and a six-team "pro" league. Secondly, this league will be very loosely ran and likely a little less organized, the reason being that this league is mostly just for fun and a chance to play -- not necessarily an all-out competition for the RHL-DL championship. Some days we may have to reschedule if nobody can ref, and other things might occur. It will also be the place for me to test out potential RHL refs, so we'll have some sort of rotating system to do that. Now comes the fun part. We're looking for four team owners. Here are the guidelines for said owners: - As of right now, you may NOT be on an RHL roster. We want to get the people that will likely be the most active. I know a few experienced players that aren't a part of any RHL team that are very qualified in owning (I won't force them to own though). If we get to the point where nobody is signing up, I may lift that requirement slightly to make it where players can own an RHL-DL team but they can't also own or have ownership ties to RHL teams. - You must have some experience in the RHL prior to this point. I don't want to take some random dude from another league or wherever and throw them into a leadership position when I know nothing about them. I don't care if you've previously owned a JHL team, if you don't have any service in the RHL, I don't really trust you yet. - You must be willing to show up to games whenever possible. As I said, this league is a little less organized than the RHL is and it will be a combined effort by staff members to keep it running, but we need your contribution too. If an owner isn't active, chances are their teams will stop showing up, and then that makes it pointless to run the league. Show up, recruit people to your team, have some fun. That's all we're asking. ** To make the league run well, we need four owners and then about seven players on each team. Players who are valued at three stars and above in the RHL are not eligible to play in the RHL-DL, and if they are re-rated above 2-stars at any time, their ability to play in the RHL-DL will be taken away. Also, you can't be playing in both leagues at one time.
