Welcome to the Expectations and Guidelines for the Naval Air Force.
Lets begin with some of my personal expectations.
I expect maturity, activity, and your full respect and devotion.
I want you to care for this division, like I do.
Section I: "Ranks"
Ranks are simple, most have different jobs, meanings, and expectations.
[Instructors]
-Instructors should host at least once every 2 weeks. I say two weeks because NAF shouldn't have 100 Aviators while SEALs has 9 actual SEALs.
-Instructors should be 12+ (Age)
-Instructors should have Skype.
-Instructors shouldn't provide a negative example outwards of what NAF really is.
[Ground Crew]
-Ground crew shouldn't guide planes off of the carrier.
-Don't play around with pilots.
-Pilots may squish the ground crew if they don't do their job.
-Don't stand in the way of fast moving Aircraft.
-Ground crew should be 10+ (Age)
[Naval Flight Officers]
-Naval Flight Officers should be the most mature out of everyone on this list.
-Should be 13-14+
-Should be at least an E6-E7.
-Have 2 weeks in NAF.
-Been to 5 tryouts.
[Naval Aviators]
-Naval Aviators should have the most amount of people.
-Naval Aviators shouldn't gun down their own team with jets.
-Jets are suicide bomb-able, just like Helicopters. Please be responsible with this fact. I do not suggest flying it into your instructor, or teammate, and then deselecting the tool. If you see a ship, you're on fire, burning, crashing to the earth, then I give you permission, and only then, to deselect the tool when you hit the ship.
-Don't screw around with Jets or Helicopters at Great Lakes.
Section II: Guidelines for Instructors
Instructors, this is how a tryout would go.
[JETS] - Primary Tryout. (Helicopter instruction is not absolutely required, yet.)
1: Shout the tryout.
2: Everyone should be in Uniform.
3: Get everyone into a STS formation near the Control Tower.
4: Teach them about the Aircraft, go over the top speed, the weapons, the system, and controls.
5: Tell them to pick a partner.
6: Send the groups of 2 down into the hangar to grab aircraft and taxi each other back to the top. Have someone help with this.
7: Get the groups of 2 in the air 2 at a time.
8: Let them fly for a few minutes, take the system in.
9: Begin launching stingers, call everyone in to land.
10: Once everyone has landed, or has been shot down, get them in whites, take them to the flag, and then accept them.
11: Done.
Now, how a Training would go.
[HELICOPTERS] - Introduction.
1: Shout the training.
2: Strictly get everyone who comes into their uniform and into a line.
3: Teach them about the Helicopter. Controls, same thing as jets.
4: Get them into a Helicopter.
5: Let them fly, experience it.
6: Have them land on the Carrier. The ones who don't, shoot them down, or jump them, then kick them.
7: Get everyone in whites, have them at the flag, tell them they did good.
[JETS] - For those who need help again.
Take them through the basic tryout again.
Section III: Rules
-Don't abuse your position as NAF.
-Don't contradict Instructors or the CO/XO.
-Don't pester your Instructors or CO/XO.
-Don't act a fool.
-I swear to god if you make us look bad you're gone
-Always wear a Flight Suit when on deck, wear Type III's with wings anywhere else.
-Respect everyone, even your co-sailors.
-You're not allowed to have a weapon on the Dwight at any training base. That is for the XO/CO or permitted airmen. To gain a permit, message me for information. There is a fee.
That's all. Thanks if you made it this far.
-Guy3337, NAF CO.
