I - Introduction II - Experience III - Plans IV - Conclusion [I - Introcution] Hello, for the nonexistent population of Firestone that didn't bother to look at my username, my name is trollinpants. It is my pleasure to announce my candidacy for a third term as a Firestone representative. [II - Experience] I have already mentioned that I am running for a third term in Firestone. To add onto that, I am serving my second term as the Docklands Speaker of the House. I've been elected into the Docklands House of Representatives four times now. I know what I'm doing and I know how the Firestone House works. I've attended more Firestone sessions that I haven't. I don't back down from a position that I work hard to achieve. I'm not going to fall into that irritating population of people who get elected into a position and resign shortly after, which is a problem I've been noticing a lot recently. I'm here to stay for the progress and more importantly for the people. [III - Plans] I've mentioned in the last paragraph that I've been noticing a lot of people, mostly congressmen, who resign shortly after being elected. This obviously slows down the productivity of the state. One of my plans is to propose legislation to create certain requirements in order to qualified to resign. Of course, there will also be consequences for deserting. Obviously, I plan to continue to attend sessions and keep my attendance ratio at a good spot. [IV - Conclusion] There's my speech. @Fa_rah I mentioned in my paragraph on my plans that one of my main goals was to propose legislation that made certain requirements in order for an elected individual to resign from a position. I might come up with a more complicated system later, but just as an example: Somebody has to be in office for three weeks in order to resign. If they desert by leaving Firestone before three weeks, then it might result in a bar from public office, which would prevent them from running for an elected position again.
