Documented Guide: Code of Security Classification: Security Department Level classification: Security Department Trainee + _________________________________________________________________________ [Regulation Code] Respect and maturity are required at all time while on Security Department team. Officers or higher are to be referred as Sir or Ma’am at all time. Under no circumstances should a security operative abuse his weapons, use them for wrongdoing or make improper use of them. The only time a security operative should make use of lethal or damaging force follows as such : A. Defending a facility against an enemy of the foundation or an unauthorized individual. B. Terminating personnel that has gone rogue (Attacking other personnel, attempting to breach SCPs or that are refusing to leave an unauthorized area after one verbal warning.) C. Security Operatives are not to break any part of the Code Of Ethics at any given time. The Code of Ethics is to be known by any operative at all times and must be learned every times it is updated. Only exceptions specially marked in cooperation with the Ethics Committee and the Security Department may represent reason enough to break the Code of Ethics. Security Operatives should not recontain at any given time unless no MTF or RRT operatives are currently on-site or available to recontain. In the event that such thing happen, the highest ranking operative should take command of the recontainment team. Only Security Officers, Lieutenant, Captains and Directorate are to command the Security Department if on-site. Otherwise only a member of the O5 Council may give orders to any Security Operative. However it is not impossible and should be noted that any department might request your assistance. As a member of the Security Department, you outrank anyone when it comes to a security matter, meaning that no matter what division is committing crime, you are authorised to warn or even terminate them if the case must be. Any personnel found attacking a foundation personnel, which means anyone of Level-0 or higher is subject to being warned or even terminated by the Security Department. An Officer or higher may arrest said personnel and then bring the said personnel to proper authority if present on site. The only time another department may have power over you is during a containment breach, this department being the Mobile Task Forces, they may instruct you to help them or to leave a containment breach zone. As a Security Operative, communication is one if not the most important part of your work, you must be aware of your radio feed at all times and respond quickly and without hesitation. Teamwork is an important of our work and should not be underestimated. All part of the Code Of Conduct should always be respected.
