you might end up like club penguin. used to be a good game, now most people stopped playing it due to disney's bad business practices.
first of all, stop trying to be professional. you don't need to be professional to be fun. sure, the graphics look nice but did you really have to "revamp" the roblox logo to be a square begle that's askew? did you really have to mobilize everything?
like, no one asked for these changes, you're just doing this to look "fresh."
well, even if you change your brand, people will still see you as a cringy site.
please note that i am not nostalgia blinded, i just simply don't like the way they are going.
the sponsored events, the toys, the soon-to-come tv advertisements, i just simply don't like it, trying to keep its glossiness by updating their site, unannounced.
maybe could you stop changing things and using shady business practices? crazy idea huh?

Once again, No offense, but people really need to stop bandwagoning these posts. They're certainly not. Roblox has received tons of sponsorships, created a new, more professional logo, a pretty awesome trailer, and finally hit 1 million concurrent players. In fact, Roblox is doing better than ever. I've already addressed some of this in one of my other posts, titled "Roblox is Evolving". Granted, the post is a bit brief, but I wrote it pretty quickly on my phone, so you'll have to excuse the small errors. Your logic swings both ways. It doesn't need to be detailed in order to be good. Besides, I think Roblox is just trying something new. Eventually everyone's going to get used to the logo, just like they did with tix removal. |

You do realize running a company requires revenue, right? Every company strives to make money, it's nothing new. Roblox is at least making nice updates to counteract their "greedy" ones. |

I don't design logos, so I wouldn't know. But, the minimalistic design is just a trial. Roblox is trying to make moves on the right direction for both its community and it's business side, buts it's quite evidently not as easy as it may seem.
