Um...sorry halloy...it isn't. C++ is much more complex then lua but if you can learn C++ then you can use Lua. Lua is an entirely different programming language then C++ but a much eisier one

LUA is MUCH easier than C++, all you have to do is study LUA scripts for
awhile and you can script LUA! |

If you learn C++, don't expect that Lua will come easily. Just when you think "Hey, [insert technique here] in Lua is kinda like C++" then something comes along that's totally unexpected, totally quirky, and completely script-breaking.
Also, learning C++ WILL cause you to forget "then"s in Lua :P
I'm not saying don't learn C++, I'm just saying that Lua is pretty quirky, and may be confusing if you have a background in C++.
If you're looking for an easier language to learn than C++, I recommend C#. It's very powerful, and very easy to use, with (in my opinion) very clean syntax. |
