Not going to say who it is. So this guy offers to work for me. I'm not sure whether I can trust him so I ask for a TINY map. How small? A 100 x 100 baseplate's worth. I'm a nice person, ya know, so I give him 2 weeks. Now he has 2 days left and he isn't even halfway done. Also, he's building like a chimp. Instead of making parts larger, he just stacks more smaller parts on top of each other. Is this a stylistic choice? Cuz it looks like garbage.

NOTE: It's not volunteering. The plan was for me to actually pay this kid.

Well if he didn't meet your expectation, you kindly tell him the deal's off, it'd be best to give him a small compensation fee so he doesn't get angry and think you just wasted his time. Also don't insult him too harshly, stuff like this happens, not everyone is perfect, I think you should've reviewed his work beforehand than just going in for a deal.

I did look at his work beforehand. I asked for something similar to what he had already made. Yet the moment he started the quality tanked.
