because that's how it is for current non-veterans with <1000 posts, it's only applied to THEM and not for any other people with the veteran badge, it will be useful because there are people who dont have a captcha and are still botting - not in terms of getting post count but rather to exasperate people
i've tested it on an alt to make sure what i said was correct, i used a 2015 account and it had no captcha; i used a 2016 (non-veteran account- below <1000 posts and it had a captcha
also, even though the title states "<1000", maybe it should be lowered (my opinion, you can disagree lol)
i would post this in s7i but it's pointless there
